Carson Rodeffer, M.D.
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida but in my early teens our family moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida where my parents and most of my extended family continue to live. After finishing my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, I spent over two and a half years working with a small Christian NGO in Las Mesas, Honduras. I was involved in a children's dental project as well as coordinated and managed medical, construction, and VBS trips between our community in Las Mesas and several different churches in northeast Florida and south Georgia. During my time in Honduras I met my wife, Cyndi, and we were married following completion of my second year of medical school. After graduating medical school from Florida State University in Tallhassee, Florida we moved to Orlando for my residency training at Winnie Palmer Hospital. At Winnie Palmer I met and became friends with Dr Matthew Tilstra who extended our family an invitation to join Hera OBGYN in Modesto, California at the completion of my training. My wife Cyndi, our twins Evangelina and Santiago, and our Australian Shepherd Tobi are excited to be in Modesto and we look forward to serving and getting to know our neighbors and community.
