Esther J. Tow-Der, M.D.
After receiving my bachelors degree in Chemistry at Mills College, and completing medical school at the University of California Medical School in San Francisco, I served my internship, residency and chief residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton.
I started my private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989 specializing in prenatal care, women’s health issues, family planning, Pap smear screening and infertility. In 1991 I received my board certification from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I participate in various medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association and the Stanislaus Medical Society.
My husband Gary and I have two children – Matthew and Megan – and live on a small working ranch in the valley. Apart from spending time with the animals on our ranch, we enjoy camping, gardening and horse-back riding.
